Bobcat Traction Lock Solenoid Location and Removal :
The 6681512 solenoid can be located at the center of the machine's chain case by raising the loaders operator cab. To replace a faulty solenoid, un-plug all electrical connectors and remove the two mounting bolts from the solenoid mounting bracket; removing the solenoid from the chain case cover. Once the solenoid is removed, un-bolt the solenoid spacer from the chain case cover allowing removal of the traction lock assembly from within the chain case. Re-install in reverse order, tightening the solenoid spacer bolts to 25-28 ft.-lb and solenoid mounting bracket bolts to 80-90 ft.-lb.
